STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It is infallible (unalterable) and it was written by holy men of old as they were moved upon by the spirit of God. (II Timothy 3:16)

  • I believe in the oneness of God.  He has revealed himself as Father in Creation, Son in Redemption, and the Holy Ghost in Regeneration.  He is holy in nature, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.  (Deuteronomy 6:4; Genesis 1:1)

  • I believe in the virgin birth.  Jesus was born both human and Divine.  He was God manifested in the flesh. (1Timothy 3:16)

  • I believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that He ascended on high and sent his spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 2000 years ago on the day of Pentecost.  It is the same spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today as comforter, sustainer, keeper, and guide. (John 16:13)

  • I believe that neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved than the name of Jesus. (Acts 4:12)

  • I believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the blood Jesus shed for us on Calvary. (Ephesians 2:8)

  • I believe in the baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues as the spirit gives utterance. (Acts 2:38)

  • I believe in holy living. After we are saved from sin, we are commanded to go and sin no more. (John 3:11)

  • I believe in divine healing.  (Isaiah 53:5; I Peter 2:25)  Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. (Acts 10:38)  He commanded the believers to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

  • I believe in the glorious catching away of the saints, when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory to take his people to heaven (Rapture). (I Thessalonians 4:13-18)

  • I believe that there will be a resurrection of all the dead, both just and unjust. (Rev. 20:12-15)

  • I believe that it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. (Heb. 9:27)
